3 school wide history projects that link Kodesh and Chol history skills, in an enjoyable and interactive way. Staff and pupils can collaborate on putting together impressive wall displays, while developing pupil knowledge and skills at the same time.
Covid-19 History Project: Have you ever thought about how history textbooks are written, where their sources come from? Now is your chance to find out! The Covid-19 history project is an opportunity for all students to develop some sophisticated historical and writing skills in a creative manner. The project is divided into 6 stages which are complete with requirements and teachers guidance.
School Timeline Project: A three part project in which students research a given era, document the timespan allocated to them, and lastly present the information in a memorable way to their peers. The program links the Kodesh and Secular events of the time to give students a full understanding of the social, political and economic situation at the time.
Their prominence; My personality: Students are taught about several prominent Jewish women from throughout our history, focusing on the many limudim we can learn from them. In conjunction to the material taught, students will create a profile about the woman of their choice in which they relate; their biography, the lessons they learnt, and ideas about how to implement the legacy these women left us in todays day and age.
