This unique assessment system is an excellent way to provide ongoing, formative assessment of Literacy objectives. Designed to work with The Track Master assessment system developed by The CSCL, it can also work independently, as a great way to check pupils’ understanding of the English Curriculum, after they have learnt some new objectives and already had some practise on them.

It is a collection of mini assessment assignments; one for each literacy objective of the year, designed to take the students only a few minutes to complete, but which give the teacher and curriculum head an indication of how well the students have understood the objective.

With the current Ofsted focus on school’s keeping their finger on the pulse of the ongoing impact of their curriculum, these mini assignments are a valuable tool in your curriculum-based assessment methodology.
